Tips for choosing the best photo:
- Subject should be up close, detailed, and in focus.
- A higher resolution digital file is preferred to be able to zoom in and capture all of the details.
- If the only photograph available is of lower resolution with very little detail provided, I may not be able to paint your pet at your desired image size.
- Head and shoulder shots are a preferred view -- allowing me to zoom in and put the focus on their particular expression.
- If you would be interested in a full body portrait please let me know so that I can give you a more accurate quote and suggestion in image size.
- Natural lighting is recommended. Too much light from a flash can flatten or "white out" the image.
- More than one picture can be combined to form the painting.
